Hudson Yards rose in the 2010s on a platform over the West Side rail yards, at the northern end of the High Line. Its draws for visitors are the honeycomb Vessel, the Edge observation deck cantilevered off 30 Hudson Yards, and the mall and public plaza around them.

The High Line ends here, so many visitors arrive on foot from Chelsea and combine the walk with Edge or the Vessel.
Sunset slots sell out and cost more. A clear late afternoon into dusk gives day and night views in one visit.
The 7 train's western terminus, 34 St-Hudson Yards, comes up into the development.

Yes. It reopened after a pause, with added safety netting. Entry is free but you need a timed reservation.
How high is Edge?
The deck is about 1,100 feet up, on the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards, and it projects out from the building with a glass floor panel.
Do I need to book Edge ahead?
Yes, especially for sunset. It is a timed ticket and popular slots sell out.
How long does a visit take?
About an hour or two for Edge and the Vessel together, more if you shop or see something at The Shed.
